Thomas Finetti, an associate, was born in Nutley, NJ.  His practice focuses on all aspects of intellectual property including patent application preparation and prosecution, and preparing patentability, infringement and patent validity studies, particularly in the chemical and pharmaceutical arts.

He received his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2005.  He was the recipient of the Merck Patent Fellowship Award and the J.P. Miele Scholarship.  Mr. Finetti earned his M.S. in Chemistry from Lehigh University in 2002, concentrating in synthetic organic chemistry.  In 2001 he received his B.S. in Chemistry, magna cum laude, from Lehigh University where he received the Presidential Scholar Award as well as departmental honors in chemistry.   Mr. Finetti’s research experience includes three summer internships with Merck & Co.’s Department of Medicinal Chemistry and three years of research at Lehigh University spanning his undergraduate and graduate studies.
