Dennis M. Smid is a partner in the firm. Mr. Smid practices in all aspects of intellectual property and specializes in patent prosecution before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. His practice deals with diverse technologies including audio/video devices, telecommunications, digital/analog circuits, computers, medical devices, consumer products, software, and mechanical devices. He also has extensive experience in patentability, validity, and infringement opinion matters. Mr Smid also has experience in preparing and negotiating license agreements. Prior to entering law school, Mr. Smid was employed as an engineer in the aerospace industry in the field of navigational systems.
