Experienced Computer Software/EE Associate (2-5 years)


The Firm seeks an associate to assist in patent prosecution and opinion work in the computer software field. A successful candidate will work closely with clients and other firm attorneys in developing patent applications and prosecuting applications. It is also expected that a successful candidate will work as part of a team conducting due diligence on new products and technology acquisitions towards rendering opinions to clients. Requirements include a B.S. in computer software/EE with a minimum of two years experience in patent prosecution. The candidate must possess superior credentials and must be admitted to practice before the U.S.P.T.O. Patent Prosecution Secretary The Firm is seeking an experienced Secretary/Paralegal to join the Firm’s patent prosecution staff. Successful experience in patent prosecution is required, domestic or foreign, along with the following general basic qualifications: professional demeanor, critical attention to detail and accuracy, proficiency in MS Word and familiarity with Windows, familiarity with patent prosecution software and patent filing procedures, experience with telephone responsibilities including ability to develop interpersonal skills with clients, ability to independently prioritize work, organizational and filing skills, availability for incidental overtime, ability to handle multiple diverse tasks and implementation of administrative duties.

Patent Prosecution Assistants The Firm is seeking the right individuals to work with the U.S. and Foreign Patent Departments as Assistant Administrators. A minimum of three years’ successful experience in patent prosecution is required, domestic or foreign, along with the following general basic qualifications: professional demeanor, critical attention to detail and accuracy, proficiency in MS Word and familiarity with Windows, general familiarity with patent prosecution software and patent electronic filing procedures, experience with telephone responsibilities including ability to develop interpersonal skills with clients, ability to independently prioritize work, strong organizational and filing skills, availability for incidental overtime, ability to handle multiple diverse tasks and implementation of administrative duties. Ability to work in a team environment is essential.
