The intellectual property law firm Lerner, David, Littenberg, Krumholz & Mentlik, LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Roberto Colón as an associate of the firm.
Mr. Colón practice focuses on patent counseling and procurement. He has experience preparing and prosecuting domestic and foreign patent applications in a wide range of technologies, including mechanical and electrical devices, with particular emphasis on medical devices. He has also provided and drafted opinions on patentability, infringement, and validity of patents. Mr. Colón has conducted due diligence reviews to asses the value of intellectual property portfolios and detect potential liabilities.
He is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is fluent in Spanish.
Mr. Colón has a LL. M. from Columbia Law School, a J. D. from University of Puerto Rico School of Law and a
B. S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Puerto Rico.
